As a senior electrical engineer at 219 Design, you will work on a diverse set of projects with a variety of clients. You will be a public face of 219 as you tackle big challenges for products that improve people’s lives. Minimum Qualifications

  • You not only love designing electronics for mixed signal embedded systems, but are great at it.  You have 5+ years solid experience doing it.
  • You are comfortable performing multi-layer board layouts and board bringups. You have experience evaluating new parts and circuits for viability and performance, as well as analyzing existing hardware.
  • You have been through the product design lifecycle, including taking several hardware designs to manufacturing successfully.
  • You have experience working with firmware engineers during the design and bring-up process.
  • You have experience with EMC/EMI compliance and can take steps to make a failing board pass.
  • You are comfortable with standard test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and the like.
  • You are passionate about using best practices including high-quality documentation (BOM, versioning, etc).
  • You are well-versed in an ECAD tool (preferably Altium).
  • You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and imparting experience when the need arises.
  • You have strong communication skills w/the ability to be respectful and persuasive at the same time.
  • You have a BS degree in electrical engineering and/or physics.
  • You are authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
